Differential Diagnosis: Rules

1. Please, use proper grammar. If you are having an IM between two characters, then it is alright, as well as in journal entries, but please if you are roleplaying, then use proper grammar. "tYpInG lYkE dIs" will not be accepted.

2. Please respect all of the other members, do not discriminate or promote any type of that here, because I will ask you to leave immediately.

3. You are allowed to have up to 2 characters. If I think you can handle more than that, then we will see. You probably don't want to play two characters that interact alot, such as House and Wilson, or House and Chase, etcetera. If you feel up to roleplaying with yourself, then more power to you.

4. There may be mature themes in this roleplay, if you are under the age of 17, I ask that you do not bother to apply for this roleplay, because I will not be held responsible for someone else getting in trouble.

5.You must be able to update at least ONCE a week. It's not asking that much, people. If you have a reason as to why you are unable to update, such as vacation, or something of that sort, please let us know. You may e-mail me, IM me, comment in my journal, in the community, whatever you prefer. But please let someone know. If you are unable to let someone know and a conflict is sudden, such as your computer crashes or a family crisis, and you're unable to access the net for a while, we will be lenient. We just want active people.

6. You must have a journal for your character. It must be used for this RP and this one alone. While using your journal, write as if it were the character's journal.

7. If you are posting a log from AIM, or starting a thread here, please use the following format:

Who: (Which characters were included)
When: (What time it was, or what day)
Where: (Location, i.e Cuddy's Office, PPTH Cafeteria, etc.)
Summary: What happens...
Warnings: This is only if there is foul language or mature themes, etc.

8. If part of an entry is meant to be private, then mark it as Private. This is usually done where the part of the entry that is meant to be visible to the character only is under a cut.

9. Please be courteous to everyone, that is not much of a request, it should be more of a given.

10. For the love of cake NO GODMODDING!

11. Please do not kill your character, you are allowed to torture them as much as you want, but you are not allowed to kill them off. Minor characters are allowed to be killed, if you'd like. But please no killing of the Ducklings, or Cuddy, Wilson, etcetera.

12. Original Characters are allowed, an application for original characters is under construction.

13. If you are applying for an original character, please, PLEASE do not make it a Mary-Sue.

14. THERE ARE NO PATIENTS IN THIS ROLEPLAY. For more information regarding patients and cases, see ddwhiteboard, this is where all case information will be posted.

15. Once you have been accepted, make sure you friend ALL of the communities. This includes differentials, diffs_ooc, ddwhiteboard, as well as friending this journal.

16. Just to prove you have read ALL of the rules, the magic words are "It's never lupus!"
